Ahar Paper Preparation & Working with Shell-Gold

This is an intensive 2-part workshop aimed at advanced students of calligraphy and tezhip. In the first part of the workshop, participants will learn about the tools, materials and techniques used to prepare and preserve paper. In part 2 of the workshop, participants will learn how to work with shell-gold and observe its preparation from gold leaf.
